The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Experience invites resumes for a full-time, twelve-month, grant-funded, exempt contractual position with limited benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Creates and maintains project plans, charters, schedules, budgets (when applicable) and workspaces to manage project execution.
Secures team buy-in and sponsor approval for key project documents, budgets, and schedules.
Elicits requirements from stakeholders to define, document and secure approval for project scope before moving to project execution phase.
Communicate challenges in a timely and constructive manner.
Establishes mechanisms to hold project team members accountable for successful project execution.
Documents and communicates accountability issues in a timely and constructive manner, so as not to disrupt project progress whenever possible.
Closely monitors projects for scope creep. Reports potential scope creep in a timely manner, and documents decisions and impacts of approved changes to scope.
Creates and maintains documentation to track project risks and issues.
Consistently pushes project team to mitigate risks and issues, escalating as appropriate, in a timely and constructive manner to resolve risks and issues before they significantly impact the project whenever possible.
Ensures project transparency and visibility.
Facilitates communication across all aspects of the project.
Regularly updates project documentation and reports.
Professionally and positively represent the Enrollment Management and Student Experience Division in all interactions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Four or more years of experience in Project Management/lead or related capacity.
